Last Saturday, as usual of my Saturdays me and Christian were at the SM Megamall (as always). But other than that me and my best friend planned to go to Trick Art this day or maybe, Manila Ocean Park. Eventually, we decided not to because both parties got lazy of the long travel haha! Oh, warning: this is a very long post
Anyway, we had lunch at Greenwich, Basement (Food Court) and you know I was pretty disappointed of them because we planned to eat there so I could make use of my Happy Plus Card
Yet they had this “that’s only used in selected areas” explanation while the coupons says “Metro Manila” and that we got this Happy Plus Card at SM Megamall, Jollibee T_T Ah, I’ll report that later to the place where I bought it…but anyway, we, instead, waited for my bestfriend, Karen a.k.a Korun and then when we met up and were done with lunch headed to BPI to meet up with her CB.
Afterwards, we went to movie cinema to choose a movie! Ended up with Rock of Ages. I was really skeptic at first because I truly wanted to watch Prometheus but not so-so since a friend (Clint, the movie master lol) said it wasn’t good…but later on he said it was because he watched it in 3D >.< Haha you so unfair.
To kill time, we went to Mochi first because Karen promised she’d treat me to this Mochi Icecream she keeps posting in her Instagram! And what do you know? It was so good and sweet!
And then we dropped by Toy Kingdom because her CB was to buy a Gundam Toy. We also saw this anime magazine that had Toradora on its cover, so Christian bought it for me, yay!
This is also kind of cool because Midori no Hibi (Midori Days) is in it as well and other “recommended” anime that we could watch (we’ve been hunting animes to watch other than those with endless series) At the same time, we found out the two had collections of anime series to watch 8D So, we planned this coming Sunday to do a marathon or so. I’m so excited! I also introduced them to Taclings as usual of me, Christian was already making fun that I am endorsing it. It’s just so good you know!
Anyway, we almost missed the movie! Haha, time ran so fast while at the Toy Kingdom and chit-chatting. Finally, we watched Rock of Ages.
Now about this movie..my first impression was that it was a boring musical movie. But I was fooled! Heh, it’s not that much but it is good especially the punch lines. If you also want to see Tom Cruise doing something REALLY different, way DIFFERENT than the mission impossible (it even seems that it must have been the most impossible of him) you should watch this. Catherine Zeta Jones is also part of the movie but is only a minor yet funny add to the whole movie. It’s a good thing to see her! I haven’t seen her in movies lately. This is a movie about love for rock music, love, friendship and truth about rock stars. I admit it was worth the watch.
Korun’s CB had to go because he would be going somewhere really far. Korun stayed with us and we played games over Time Zone’s and also had pictures! We played some games as well, Korun wanted to play the one with dancing but there was a girl having a marathon then next to them were a couple dancing like mad. MEHHH!!
We went to National Bookstore afterwards because I wanted to buy new Faber-Castell colored pens. I hate it that they are hiding the one with 24 classic colored pencils. Then we saw that bag Korun wanted, she said, she saw this cute small panda bag at Greenbelt (I think) then I told her about the one I saw some weeks ago at National Bookstore that I said reminded me of her. It’s funny, it was actually the same bag! Haha.
Then we had to drop by Serenitea but according to the lady at the information desk, there wasn’t any at SM Megamall T_T Hmm, we headed to Gong Cha instead, since Korun has not tried them yet. This time I ordered something I liked! Heeee. Icecream Milk Tea! We had to go there to buy mom because she requested I buy her pearl and milk tea, whatever that’s called x)
Korun was with us until our last ride because we ride over the same tricycle terminal. Which is nice because we got to chat more. She told me lots of stories about work, and then we made plans for weekends. I just hope it pushes through ^u^ I am so happy I was able to hang out with her finally.
It’s a great feeling to have friends who I can be weird around XD If you know what I mean, and someone you can just tell about almost anything. Thank you Korun and your CB! Lez have anime marathon soon ^u^
Thank you for the Cookies n Cream kisses too hunny.
At home, we watched another movie. Actually, a classic one – I watched it when I was in fourth grade and while downloading, I found out it was a movie in 1996. Christian was making fun of how I liked old movies. But you see, I appreciate old movies more for they had more stories. My mom and I discussed this. Movies of today are rather about effects and are violent sometimes – the movie was That thing you do which is a tribute to the band The Wonders. And this is why this post had that title.
Anyway, thanks for reading if you got to this point!

It’s my first time here sis and I was really amazed by the simplicity and neatness of your theme!
Ang galing!
You really had a long but full of fun Saturday.
Boyfie already saw the Prometheus, online, and he told me that it’s really not that good so we just don’t bother to see it on the big screen, instead I will ask him to watch Rock of ages, seems like a good movie for laughs.

Natikman ko mochi ice cream nung nasa tagaytay kami, uber sarap! Kaso di makain agad kasi tigas nung labas!
